The 'Algarve' orange and the Portuguese 'Douro' Muscatel wine combines wonderfully with the persimmon, produced in the Northern's Interior of Portugal's mainland. It's a juicy fruit with an orangish-red pulp with a bittersweet and astringent flavor. The nuts from 'Trás-os-Montes', a Northern Portugal's interior region, with a characteristic flavour, that finalizes this pairing with an unique flavour that perfectly combines with cheese or galettes fillings.
