Banana and Clementine Extra Jam with Rum
This fruit jam, with an intense sweet flavour due to its main ingredient, the 'Madeira's banana, when mixed the the Clementine and Rum, result in a lightness of sweet much apreciated by many. The banana, with a distinctive clove flavour pairs very well with rum and cinnamon. Highly energetic, the 'Madeira's banana (from the Madeira archipelago, Portugal) is eaten by elite athletes: it has a rich content in sucrose, glucose, fructose, fibres, potassium, magnesium and vitamins A, B and C.
This flavour combination makes this fruit jam perfect for breakfast or lunch, but it can also be used as a topping for crepes, waffles, scrumbles, pancakes, toasts, oatmeal, pies, and muffins.
Ingredients: Banana (49%), sugar, clementine (12%), rum (3%), cinnamon, gelling agent (pectin) and lemon juice. Prepared with 61 g of fruits per 100 g.
